WebEx PCNow Launches New iPhone Compatible Version for Wireless Remote Access of PC Files and Email

SANTA CLARA, Calif., August 29, 2007—Web collaboration leader WebEx, today launched a new iPhone compatible version of WebEx PCNow, the only on-demand remote access service for both desktops and wireless devices. PCNow gives iPhone users the ability to access their desktop PC files, and Microsoft Outlook corporate email, contacts and appointments from their wireless device. iPhone users can register for a free 30-day trial at http://pcnow.webex.com

IWebEx PCNow is the first remote access solution to support both PC-to-PC and phone-to-PC access. Through a partnership with mobile technology provider SoonR, it enables iPhone users the ability to access their desktop for search, Microsoft Outlook contacts, calendar, email and multiple types of documents. Content is optimized for viewing and designed to deliver the same experience as working on the desktop computer. There is no software to download; users simply navigate iPhone’s Safari web browser to access their desktop.

WebEx PCNow includes the following mobile access capabilities:

  • Mobile File Access— Access and view files, photos, and documents stored on your remote
    computer from any mobile phone. Quickly email or share documents and pictures on the go.
    View slideshows and share comments with other users.
  • Mobile Desktop Search—Use popular desktop search tools such as Google, and Windows to
    quickly find documents, emails, images and contacts stored on the desktop PC.
    Easily forward files from search results to colleagues and
    friends.
  • Mobile Skype VoIP—Use SkypeOut to call contacts even on mobile devices that are not
    supported by the Skype mobile client.
  • Mobile Outlook Integration—Read, reply, forward or delete emails and have your changes
    automatically updated on the Outlook on your computer. Create emails or appointments, and
    access contacts.
